Description
Pressure swing adsorption plants (PSA) are well-established process for the separation and also purification of various industrial gases. These units aresafe, reliable and cost effective and are based on a physical binding of gas molecules to a solid adsorbent material.
The adsorbent material can be a combination of activated carbon, silica gel, carbon molecular sieves and zeolites. The binding forces between the gas molecules and the adsorbent material itself is influenced by many factors namely the operating temperature, the type of adsorbent material gas component, the gas component and the partial pressure.
Halske’s design of these plants enable the client to run a reliable and cost effective separation and purification for various process gases with capacities ranging from a view hundred Nm3/h to large-scale plants with flows up to 100.000 Nm3/h. The focus is to ensure a simple operation combined with high product recovery.
Halske’s prefabricated modular skid design decreases assembly time and limits costs on site.
